Educational Background

Certifications (Preferred): Professional certifications related to identity management (e.g., CIMP, CIGE), information security (CISSP, CRISC), or project management (PMP) can be beneficial.
Professional Experience
Experience: Generally requires 5-10+ years of relevant professional experience, including specific experience in IAM service implementation or registration/data management in humanitarian settings.
Leadership/Management: Proven management experience, including leading teams (potentially in remote locations), managing budgets, and handling multiple projects concurrently.
Humanitarian Context: Experience working in international organizations or humanitarian settings, with knowledge of global protection standards and conflict-related displacement issues, is highly valued.
Key Technical Skills
IAM Expertise: Deep expertise in core Identity Management, Authentication, and Access Systems, including provisioning, federation, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of specific technologies and protocols:
Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID (Azure AD) design and implementation.
Authentication protocols (e.g., oAuth, OpenID Connect, Kerberos, SAML).
Database concepts and tools like SQL, Power BI, ArcGIS, Kobo, and Excel.
Systems Management: Experience with identity management systems (such as UNHCR’s PRIMES applications or WFP’s tools), civil registration, and biometric management systems are often essential.
Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in scripting for task automation (e.g., Python) may be required.
Data Protection: A strong understanding of data protection principles, policies, and confidentiality in information management.
